Fredericton Folks On Spokes, a bicycle group for ages 50 and up plus interested visitors to the city, will leave for its weekly ride at 10 a.m. from the Trail Visitors Centre, on the north side of the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, for a ride on the Gibson/Nashwaak Trail to Penniac and further for those who wish a longer ride. Wear a biking helmet and bring drinking water.

The City of Fredericton Tourism Department, through the new edVentures program, is sponsoring a free outdoor Wu Style Tai Chi Chuan class Monday through Fridays from 8-8:45 a.m. at Barrack's Square on Carleton St, between the craft school and the library. This program began July 7 and will run until Aug. 15. People can join in at any time and come as often as they like.
These classes are both open and free of charge.

Oromocto Skate Park at the Kings Arrow Arena - Open: Monday to Saturday, 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Helmets must be worn at all times when on skate equipment. Youth must be 13 to 18 years of age. Children under 12 may participate with a parent or guardian in attendance. Drop by the park for more information or to register.
Adventure Day Camp - A quality child-care program for children entering Kindergarten to entering Grade 5. The ADC operates from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. A maximum of 30 children per week will be accepted with preferences to those registered for the entire summer. Payment for all selected weeks must be paid upon registration. Playground Program - This program is offered for children entering Kindergarten to entering Grade 5. The playgrounds will be open until Aug. 29. A parent must be at home while the child attends. Doaktown - The Arthritis Society New Brunswick Division is having a chronic pain management workshop on Monday, July 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the community room, Central Miramichi Community Health Centre, 11 Prospect St., Doaktown. This two-hour workshop will teach more than 10 practical ways to deal with pain. There is no charge to attend. Pre-registration is appreciated due to limited seating. Minto - The New Brunswick Internment Camp Museum is open. Summer hours are Monday through Friday 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 12 p.m. - 5 p.m. The admission fee is $1.50 per person or $4 per family. The museum is located in Minto on Pleasant Drive in the Municipal Building. There are over 600 artifacts and also a one kilometre historical walking trail located at the site of the internment camp on Highway 10.
