Veteran Lonnie Stokes steered Dusty Lane Ely to the winner's circle in 1:59 flat in the $1200 fourth race, the feature on a seven dash card of harness racing on a hot night at Fredericton Raceway Wednesday.

It was the only sub-2:00 mile at the track on this night, and it was Stokes' second trip to the winner's circle in a row. He also won with Doctor Deimeter in the second race in 2:01. Other winners on the card included Manraysonjo for Mike Campbell in 2:02.3;; Raceon Brandy, with Charlie Miles in the bikeharlie Miles in the bike; Ice Pond Pinder for Phil Jones in 2:05.2, Wicked Time for veteran driver/trainer Phil Sowers in 2:01.3; and All Star Dragon for Phil Reid in 2:01.1.
